MetroSouth Medical Center offers an array of primary care physicians and cardiology specialists all focused on treating the patient with heart disease.

In many cases, an appointment with a MetroSouth Medical Center Family Medicine physician is a good place to start.  

If you have already received a diagnosis of peripheral artery disease, abdominal aneurysm, or carotid stenosis, and would like a second opinion, an appointment with an interventional cardiologist is recommended. 

For patients with diagnoses of coronary artery disease or atrial fibrillation, an appointment with a MetroSouth Medical Center cardiologist is recommended.
