Next to our patients, our patients' friends and family members are the most important people we know. Spending time with someone who cares during a hospital stay stimulates smiles and lifts spirits–on both sides of the hospital bed. That's why we encourage visitors to come see us, sit, and stay awhile; it's a healthy experience for everyone.
General visiting hours are 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The father of the new baby or significant other (as designated by the mother) will be issued an ID bracelet to be worn during the entire stay. Visiting hours for all others follow general hospital visiting hours. Two additional visitors are permitted to visit at any time. Exceptions to this policy require the consent of the physician. No persons under the age of 13 are permitted inside this unit.
Only the parents (mother and father or significant other as designated by the mother) and grandparents of the baby are permitted inside this unit.
Children may not visit patients in ICU due to infection control precautions. No exceptions can be made without prior approval from unit manager.
Visitation is permitted from the time of patient arrival until discharge from the unit.
