Blue Island, IL, November 5, 2012 – Family Medicine/Obstetrics physician David Beckmann, M.D., is now a member of the medical staff at MetroSouth Medical Center. His office is located in the MetroSouth Doctors Pavilion, 2310 York Street, Blue Island, directly across the street from the hospital. His medical practice focuses on the entire family, which includes prenatal care and deliveries, pediatrics, adults and seniors. Dr. Beckmann speaks Spanish and French.

Dr. Beckmann comes to MetroSouth Medical Center from Dean Health System, Madison, WI, where he practiced family medicine with an emphasis in obstetrics and pediatrics. Previously he completed his residency as a family physician at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and St. Mary's Hospital, Madison, and graduated from the Pritzker School of Medicine, University of Chicago.

He grew up in Downers Grove, IL, and is thrilled to get back to his "roots" and closer to family.
