We believe that having loved ones nearby lifts spirits, brightens moods and improves healing. However, everyone's safety, there are a few things to consider when coming by to say hello.
Visiting Policies
General Visitation Guidelines
- General visiting hours are 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. This may vary by hospital department.
- Children are welcome. All children under age 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
- All visitors must wear a badge.
- We want to promote a safe and clean environment for our patients, so we ask that regulations regarding infection control and prevention be followed by our visitors, just as our staff do.
Women's Care Unit/Labor and Delivery
- The father of the new baby or significant other (as designated by the mother) is issued an ID bracelet to wear during the mother and child's hospital stay.
- The mother and child may have two additional visitors at any time, unless your doctor has given consent for additional guests.
- Visiting hours for family and friends are 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and follow general hospital visiting guidelines.
- Children under age 13 are not permitted inside this unit unless they are siblings.
Special Care Nursery
- Only the parents (mother and father or significant other as designated by the mother) and grandparents of the baby are permitted inside this unit.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Children may not visit patients in ICU due to infection control precautions. No exceptions can be made without prior approval from unit manager.
Hospice
- Hospice patients have no visitor restrictions.
Same Day Surgery
- Visitation is permitted from the time of patient arrival until discharge from the unit.
